Your Quotation Format, Not Ours

Most software hands you a quotation template and asks you to live with it. We do the opposite. Send us the format you use today and we rebuild it inside ElevatorPlus, close enough that your customers will not notice anything changed.

Then it takes under two minutes to produce one.

Why Elevator Companies Abandon Quotation Software

Your quotation is not a form. It is the document your customer compares against two other companies, and over years you have shaped it into something that works. The order the specifications appear in. The way the exclusions are worded. The payment terms your accounts team insists on. The logo in the corner your customers recognise.

Then software arrives and asks you to use its template instead. So the sales team keeps quoting in Word, the office retypes it into the system afterwards, and within three months nobody is using the quotation module at all.

That is the actual reason quotation software fails in this industry. Not features. Format.

We Rebuild the Format You Already Use

During onboarding, send us the quotation you sent your last customer. Our team rebuilds it inside ElevatorPlus. Same layout, same sequence, same terms, your logo. You are welcome to use our standard formats if you prefer them. Nobody is required to.

A format for each lift type

A passenger lift quotation, a goods lift quotation and a home lift quotation do not carry the same specifications or the same exclusions. Run a separate format for each, and the right one loads when you pick the lift type.

A format for each branch

Multi-branch companies rarely quote identically. Different terms, different signatories, sometimes a different registered entity. Each branch gets its own format.

Configured by us, not by you

Our team builds every one of these during onboarding. Nobody on your side is asked to learn a template editor.

Built at the Site, While You Are Still Standing There

The quotation that wins is usually the one that arrives first, and the fastest possible moment is before you have left the building.

Your engineer finishes the site survey, opens the app, picks the lift type, enters the specifications and the pricing, and produces the quotation in under two minutes. On a phone, at the site, with the customer watching. It goes out over WhatsApp or email before the meeting ends.

The competitor who says "I will email it to you tomorrow" is now a day behind, and everyone in this industry knows what happens to tomorrow.

Making the next one faster still. Most quotations are variations of one you have already sent. Make a copy duplicates an existing quotation so your engineer changes the two or three details that differ rather than starting again. Every revision is kept, so you can see what was quoted, when, and what changed between versions.

Nothing Reaches a Customer Before the Right Person Has Seen It

A quotation can route for approval before it is sent, and the rules are yours. By amount, so anything above a threshold goes up a level. By branch, so each branch manager approves their own. By lift type, if a particular category needs a specialist's eye.

The approver does not just approve or reject. They can amend the quotation first, correct a price, adjust a term, and the version the customer receives is the corrected one.

And if you do not want any of this, switch it off. Approval routing is optional and a good number of companies run without it.

How approval routing works across the platform

Signed on the Customer's Phone, Not Printed and Scanned

When the customer agrees, they receive a link by email or WhatsApp. They open it, sign on the screen with a finger, and the signed document is saved against the record.

No printing. No scanning. No chasing somebody's admin for a copy of a document you already sent them.

A Won Quotation Becomes the Job, Automatically

In most elevator companies, winning the order is where the retyping starts. Somebody opens a project sheet and enters the site, the lift specifications and the contract terms again, from a document that already contains all of it.

An installation quotation becomes an installation project

Won, and the project exists. Site, lift specifications, agreed scope and pricing all carry across, because they were already on the quotation. Nobody re-enters anything, and the project team starts from what was actually sold rather than from what somebody remembered.

Installation project management
An AMC quotation becomes a maintenance schedule

When the customer confirms, you enter one thing: the contract start date. From that date, the duration and the number of visits committed, ElevatorPlus creates every maintenance slot for the life of the contract. Quarterly, monthly, or whatever cadence you sold. They appear in the schedule and in the technician's job list without anyone building a calendar.

AMC management

Which means the quotation is not a document you produce and file. It is the thing the rest of the work is built from.

Quoting Across Borders

Multi-currency quotations are produced from the mobile app, which matters for companies quoting in more than one country from the same team.

Quotations go out over WhatsApp or email. If your WhatsApp Business API is connected, sending is one of more than thirty automated triggers, alongside renewal reminders and service updates. If it is not connected, quotations are still shared over WhatsApp manually at no cost.

Questions About Quotations

Q

Can we keep our existing quotation format?

Yes, and we build it for you. Send us the quotation you sent your last customer during onboarding and our team rebuilds it inside ElevatorPlus. Same layout, same terms, your logo.

Q

Can we have more than one format?

Yes. A separate format for each lift type, and a separate format for each branch. The right one loads when the engineer selects the lift type.

Q

Do we have to use your template?

No. Our standard formats are available if you want them, but nobody is required to use them.

Q

How long does a quotation take to produce?

Under two minutes once the format is configured, which is why most engineers write them at the site rather than back at the office.

Q

Can a quotation be sent for approval before it goes to the customer?

Yes, and it is optional. Route by amount, by branch or by lift type. The approver can amend the quotation before approving, so the customer receives the corrected version.

Q

Can the customer sign it digitally?

Yes. They receive a link by email or WhatsApp, sign on their screen, and the signed document is saved against the record.

Q

What happens when a quotation is won?

An installation quotation becomes an installation project automatically. An AMC quotation asks you for the contract start date, then creates every maintenance visit for the life of the contract based on the duration and frequency you sold.

Q

Can we quote in more than one currency?

Yes, from the mobile app.

Q

Do you keep old versions of a quotation?

Yes. Every revision is retained, and Make a copy lets you create a variation without starting from scratch.
