UK lift companies don't miss examinations by accident. They miss them because nothing is tracking them.

01

LOLER thorough examinations

Six months for lifts carrying people, twelve for goods-only. Spreadsheet tracking across a portfolio is a compliance liability.

02

Engineer scheduling across dense routes

London traffic, congestion charges, and parking make every delayed job a cascade. Without visibility, scheduling is guesswork.

03

Managing-agent portfolio contracts

Multi-site, multi-building, per-agent reporting expectations with no centralised system to hold them all together.

From LOLER scheduling to defect close-out - in one system.

PM-Based Examination Scheduling

Six-monthly (or scheme-defined) LOLER intervals tracked automatically through PM Import.

Report of Thorough Examination

A defined Service Report Format produced consistently on every visit - ready for the examiner.

Defect Checklist & Close-Out

Every defect raised and closed against the Breakdown Checklist, satisfying LOLER Reg 10.

PPM Contract & AMC Management

The maintenance schedule and the commercial contract held together in one Contract/AMC Format.

Portfolio Reporting by Branch & Area

A managing agent's buildings grouped and reported by Branch Master/Area Master.

Role-Based Engineer Access

Each engineer sees only their assigned buildings and visits. Nothing bleeds across accounts.

Frequently asked questions

ElevatorPlus is built for lift companies, not adapted from generic job management software. It handles LOLER thorough examination scheduling, the Report of Thorough Examination, defect escalation under Regulation 10, and portfolio reporting for managing agents. ICARE Elevators Limited runs on it in the UK.

ElevatorPlus manages service contracts, breakdown response, engineer scheduling and statutory examination records in one system. More than 200 lift companies use it across 20+ countries, rated 4.9 from 128 Google reviews. In the UK, ICARE Elevators Limited is a live customer.

ElevatorPlus schedules planned maintenance visits by route, engineer and contract, and schedules statutory thorough examinations separately, because those run on their own legal clock. Visits are grouped geographically to cut travel time, and the system flags an approaching examination date before it slips.

ElevatorPlus gives lift engineers the job history, unit details and previous defect list on their phone before they arrive, and it works offline in a lift pit. Job sheets, photos and customer signatures are captured on site and sync back automatically, so nothing is rekeyed at the office.

Yes. Examination dates are tracked per lift at six-monthly intervals for lifts carrying people, twelve-monthly for goods-only lifts, or against a written examination scheme where one is in place. The system also models the competent person being independent of the maintenance provider, which is a two-party workflow.

Under LOLER 1998 Regulation 9, a lift used by people at work must be thoroughly examined at least every six months. Goods-only lifts are twelve-monthly. A different interval is permitted where a written examination scheme drawn up by a competent person specifies one.

ElevatorPlus is hosted in the EU, fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). EU hosting means no third-country transfer mechanism is needed for your operational data. If UK-region hosting is a specific requirement, raise it on the demo call.

Yes. Where you service lifts across a managing agent's portfolio, you can report by site, by building and by client, so the agent receives one consolidated view. Examination status, open defects and completed visits are visible per property without you assembling a spreadsheet each month.
